Aww! So cute! Have you read Understanding exposure by Bryan Peterson? It is really what made everything click for me.
I agree with the book Understanding Exposure, amazing book! He does a great job explaining everything. This picture is too cute. I wish I knew what they were thinking when playing with their toys, I can only imagine all the thoughts going through their heads. :) Also where did you get that toy remote? My daughter constantly steals the TV remote. :)

We gave Will one of our old remotes (minus batteries), but somehow, he still knows the difference. :)
You know I feel your pain. We have the WORST natural lighting in our house, so I'm still working out the details. Slowing the shutter speed helps (I can usually get some decent shots at 1/60) AND I have to crank the ISO - sometimes to 6400. Doesn't that sound CRAZY? I also struggle with very grainy shots. I'm hoping the more I keep practicing with it, the easier it will get. Might have to check out that book!
I just looked at your picture again. I think it turned out great! Really. Do you know what your settings were?

Carrie- I have no idea what setting I was on exactly. Jackson is always moving around so much I feel like every 2 seconds I'm adjusting my settings, but I do like the idea of posting my settings. . .once I get to that point. :) I have no idea how you have 6400 ISO my camera only goes to 1600!! I must need a new camera :)
