Because every other picture this week was of my baby. . . :)
My first 'baby'. Nothing special about this picture. I tried to lighten his left (your right) eye with the portrait perfect dodge/burn but it didn't work well. What else could I use in PSE6 to try and bring it out?

Hmmm... could you try the Bright eyes action with Coffeeshop (not Perfect Portrait, just bright eyes)? I have a hard time using her bright eyes action (even though I know she makes them to be ridiculously easy). For some reason I have a much easier time with the dodge and burn.

I think Coffeshop has a masking add on that you can use in Elements. If you do that you can lighted that area, then mask off everything else. That is what I would do in PS.
