Slightly Better Excuse

I relized after posting the last group of pictures that I do have some somewhat legitimate excuses as to why I haven't been posting every day. Life is busy, as it turns out, and when your husband works 12-18 hour days. . .for weeks on end (no joke) days get even busier. That with trying to pack and plan for our upcoming adventures. . .it sure takes a lot out of this pregnant mama :). So posting every few days might be the new norm, hope that is ok with you all.

Day 41
Oh how I love that little profile. . .and those little hands. . .so sweet.

Day 42
The only plus to frosty coldness? Everything looks beautiful capped with white.

Day 43
Jackson is trying to 'wear' my shoes. With both feet? Too funny. (edited with PW 70s action)

Katherine, you have so many reasons to simplify your life right now. The fact that you're keeping up with the project is impressive. I hope you get a chance to rest.

The picture of the whispy grass, or whatever it is, is really beautiful!

Yes, the stairs do have big gaps between them, but I don't think they're big enough for even a baby to fit through. What scares me most about ours is that there is another staircase directly below these ones, so from the top of these to the bottom is two stories - I worry about an accident happening by a child getting over the rail and falling. Anyway, little Alan dos great on them, but he had practice on carpeted stairs in the US. It will probably be a long time before we let Andre scale them on his own. Beautiful in style, but not very family-friendly, huh?

PUleeeeease! No need to ask. I don't know about you but taking photos everyday isn't the problem. It's getting them uploade & edited where I struggle (as you can see from the lack of current photos). I'll be looking forward to your catch up posts!

Happy V-day!

Life happens. I batch post more than I'd like, but I figure it's better than not doing it at all.

Great shots. I so love getting out and shooting frost shots.

The last one is adorable. Love the chubby boy legs and the 70s action. Well done.
