Day 49

I took these this morning just before Andy left for work. Again I wayyy over exposed the pictures (especially the second). Any advice on how to try to 'bring back' over exposed pictures without oversaturating? Is it even possible?

Wish Andy had been in focus too, but I kinda like the depth of it.

SOOC

My edit, and a note to myself. Do NOT buy clothing for your child that you find hideous. Jackson REALLY needed some 18m PJs so I bought whatever I could find that was cotton on Carters.com . . .these AWFUL monkey PJs have become his absolute favorite. He pulls them out of the clean clothes every chance he gets to put them on. . even in the middle of the day!

Unfortunately it's hard to bring back pictures from being over exposed, you loose detail when you do that. It's so frustrating when you over expose, I feel you. When you meter, meter to the brightest part of the face to get the best exposure. :)

What a great lesson learned about not buying clothing for your child that YOU don't like to see:)

Yeah, it is hard to regain that detail, but if you use Photoshop, you can adjust your levels and see what you can bring back.

He still is a cutie!

What? Those jammies are CUTE!! I like the first one of him w daddy. I don't really have much advice for editing over exposed pics. I'm constantly checking my shots in camera to make sure they aren't over/under exposed.

Too funny about the pjs! I must admit though, I don't think they're that bad.

I like the depth of the first one. I always underexpose, which I hear is worse, because you really lose detail too. I love those jammies!

That's so cute that he likes his jammies so much! Don't worry, he'll outgrow them in a month at that age.
